About the material
Vertical wood slats are narrow battens (about 40–70 mm) fixed with even gaps over a dark membrane. The shadow lines give a facade a calm vertical rhythm; thermo-ash, larch, cedar and tropical hardwoods are typical.
Where it is used
Modern facades, entrance walls, screens around terraces and technical areas, gates.
