You don't tally areas by hand. As you draw, gardmi measures every wall, floor, roof slope and paving area, converts them to the right unit — square metres, cubic metres, linear metres or pieces — and sums the material you need across all floors of the project.

Average prices are built in — or set your own
Every material ships with an average price for your country, so the estimate shows a total from the first minute, in your local currency. Replace any price with your supplier's quote — your prices are saved with the project and kept even if you remove the object later.
The estimate is broken down by floor and by object, so you can see what drives the cost and where to save.
A material catalog with a passport for every material
Behind every estimate line is a material passport: what it is, where it is used, and the technical specifications — thermal conductivity, density, water absorption, vapour permeability, compressive strength, frost resistance and combustibility. Compare insulation by its λ or masonry by strength before you commit to a purchase.
Works for apartments, houses and several floors
Plan a single apartment or a multi-storey house — materials are summed per floor and in total, so you see the estimate for the whole building and for each level. The same drawing powers both the floor plan and the estimate.

Is the materials estimate free?
Yes — drawing the plan and getting the estimate is free and needs no sign-up.
How are the quantities calculated?
From the plan geometry: wall volume as length × height × thickness, roof and paving by area, and so on — in real metres.
Can I use my own material prices?
Yes. Average prices per country are built in, and you can override any of them; your prices are saved with the project.
Where do the material specifications come from?
Each material has a passport with typical reference values (SP 50.13330 / GOST); the actual figures depend on the manufacturer and grade.
