Outdoor toilet distance to well and house
France
At least 35 m from a declared water intake; ~5 m to the house (DTU 64.1 practice).
Distances and rules
An outdoor toilet or cesspit is placed well away from any drinking-water source so that seepage cannot reach a well or borehole, and at a distance from dwellings — your own and the neighbour’s — for sanitary reasons and to keep odour away.

Important limitation
This is a planning aid, not a legal opinion. Before construction, check the local land-use rules, easements, the network/utility operator’s requirements and neighbour buildings.
