Septic tank placement rules
Türkiye · Auxiliary · usually permanent
Where there is no sewer, a septic tank must be watertight (sızdırmaz); the 1971 pit regulation requires at least 1.5 m from a drinking-water well and 2 m from house walls, with larger gaps recommended to protect groundwater.
Placement rules
One of the most important objects in a site plan: it affects the house, well, boundary and service access.
Boundary setback
Setbacks from plot boundaries and neighbouring buildings.
Sanitary zone
Sanitary protection distances to wells, drinking water and dwellings.
